Feb.12, 2012 League Meeting Minutes

Feb.12/12- Meeting started 12:45pm

In attendance: Zoe, Vickie, Shantel, Kim, Brittany, Meghan, Ferd, Boots, Peter, Natalie, Tascha, Angela, Julie, Karen, Nicole & Lisa.

ACCOUNTS
-Vickie –accounts update
$2710.25 with all outstanding cheques accounted for

NEW MEMBERS
-Draft Party date planned for Fri. Mar. 30
-Kim, Shantel, Lisa, etc. planning
UNIFORMS

-Uniforms- 3 styles for options
Approx. $50/jersey including personalization.

-All skaters who are scrimmage-ready should have black & white Voodoo t-shirts with name & number
Contact printers for a set of white shirts printed- Fraser valley Cresting
FIRST AID
-Julie will look into 1st aid classes and will report back to us about location and costs
Megan, Ferd, Nat, Lisa, Julie, Kim
COMMITTE CHANGES
-Natalie is now doing attendance tracking- Angela to back up in case Nat’s not available.
-Skater relations volunteers, Nat is our only current
-Lisa & Angela volunteering group agreed

-Karen to take over Lisa’s interleague position.


FUNDRAISING
-Raffle fundraiser to be organized for alcohol= Texas Mickey grand prize, etc. license.

-license for 50/50 , raffle with prizes to be decided by the 25th so that we can apply for license.
Killer to check if we need more 50/50 tickets.

-Lisa wants to organize a fundraiser clothing exchange at Evergreen Hall -$27/hour
Ladies and/or kids clothes
$20 per/person they have to bring clothes to contribute and pay.
Date in Mar. to be decided
-Also members to start collecting stuff for garage sale -date to be announced.

-Mar. 17 volunteers to do a dinner at the Legion- they get the $$
Mar.24 weekend, we will do a dinner that we make $$ from.
‘Official’ volunteers will pay half price for meals.

MISC
-Pussycat scrimmage
A serious practice scrimmage- just passed skaters Can skate but it will be a full contact scrimmage
